Kathleen Walsh has been a practicing attorney since 1988. Her first exposure to the field of law was at the age of 19 in 1972 when she was hired as a legal secretary for two LaSalle Street lawyers. With their encouragement Ms. Walsh started college at DePaul University while working for them full time. In 1982 she then attended Chicago Kent College of Law, passed the bar and became licensed to practice law in 1988. She started her own practice in 1997.
For the last 29 years Ms. Walsh has always concentrated her practice in the area of family law which includes divorce and paternity cases, wills and probate matters and residential real estate. She is a sole practioner who is able to handle her cases in an efficient fashion with the help of a certified paralegal who has been with her since 2004.
